Stationed at Cara data center in Scarborough with full
support of secondary/backup data center in Vaughan head office
and also on.net connection co-location at 151 Front St downtown
Toronto.
Responsible for all aspects of all data center locations
anything from HVAC, power/UPS/generators, all racks and all
equipment within it. Copper CAT6+ and fiber cabling from servers
to core switches and SAN.
Setup switch load monitoring per port
Setup servers in racks / install OS / configured
Setup maintained switches and office WiFi access points
(Motorola 7136, Motorola 4000)
Creating imaging deployment scripts for servers and POS
terminals for restaurants. Scripts where written to capture and
or deploy images then customize it based on information provided
during first boot of server / terminal
